Nerja Beaches, Burriana Beach

There are 9kms of award winning blue flag Nerja beaches, which includes the popular Playa Burriana beach and six others to explore, most of them are within walking distance of
Nerja. From the town center leads a scenic path through the rocks
bordering the seashore and winds all the way to Burriana beach, the
walk takes approximately 15 minutes and the views along it are breath
taking, Playa Burriana is the largest and most famous beach in
Nerja awarded the blue flag for it's high standards.The beach is lined with bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a lite lunch or a barbecue, Ayos restaurant is one of the most famous for its
paella and the H2O bar Nerja has Wi-Fi Internet connection. Lifeguards operate on the beach, and there are watersports in abundance including snorkeling and scuba diving perfect for all the family.

Playa Torrecilla, Salon Beach

Located at the bottom of town center, the Playa Torrecilla
which has undergone substantial renovation over the past years to make
the beach wider and is a favorite with many holiday makers and residents. The result of the renovation is that the sea is much calmer and an ideal
beach for young children as the water is very shallow and the sand
soft.The Salon beach is a very pretty bay located to the right of the Balcon de Europa,
reached via a windy cobbled walkway, that runs off the Balcon between
the hotel and the church. Playa el Salon is one of Nerja's best-kept
secret. Many regular visitors never find this beach.

Playa Caletilla , Playa Calahonda

Located in-front of the Hotel Balcon de Europaon the east side of Nerja, Playa Caletilla is a very small beach, with relatively soft sand. The fisherman's beach, Playa Calahonda,
is situated immediately to the left of the Balcon de Europa. This beach
is small, scenic and sheltered from the wind. Although there are rocks
on either side, the beach itself is a mixture of small pebbles and soft
sand. A restaurant bar Papagayos is open daily and also in the evening, with
entertainment and even live music most nights (very popular with
locals). Sun-beds and
umbrellas can be hired making it an ideal spot for relaxing. Fishing boats can often be seen on the sands allow of glimpse of nerja historic fishing village past.

Playazo Beach

Playazo Beach is Nerja's most rugged and westerly Beach located next to the Hotel Marinas de Nerja. Flat
and almost straight, it is about 2km long, stretching from the east
edge of town along to the Marinas de Nerja hotel complex, passing
several beach bars along the way typically Spanish and many have open air barbeque's, barbecuing the fresh fish of the day. Horse riding is often seen here on the beach in the evenings. While Playzo is a great place for a
stroll, the sand is a coarse mixture of small to large pebbles with the
fine sandy areas being close to the sea. From the western end, you can
easily drive your car right onto Playazo, and along the beach. Nerja Realty feature properties close to this beach in Urbanizations Punta Lara, Urbanization Tropicana and Ladera del Mar Nerja.
